Viper M1
Viper M1
The viper is the best gun I've ever played with. It has a built in "mag" expansion chambed. The barrel is a 1/4 twist that can be removed very fast. The ball drops straight into the barrel greatly reducing ball breaks. I bought the military package. It comes with a raised sight rail and a telescoping butt stock. It is very accurate even after choping a ball. A few shots will clear the barrel and return the accuracy for the most part. The Viper M1 is made by USA Performance Products. A clone of the Viper M1 is the Vector M1. The Vector M1 is made by Auto Ordnance, makers of the "Tommy Gun". USA Peformance Products was unable to keep up with demand and leased the design. I decided to pick up a M-1 Thompson body kit. I found it at Packrat-Toyz, which in turn picked it up from Cushman Paintball. Saved the fitting fee this way. It's a plastic body that fits over the marker. Due to the design of the viper, the kit had to be modified a little. The major change is the mag on the kit is moved forward to cover the mag on the Viper. Although impressive, the kit doesn't hold up well. The rear stock has cracked in several places due to the fact that it moves alot even when tightened to the body. This after only one use. I guess I'll have to make a metal body like the BAR.
