I finally bought night vision. I haven't really used it much but it works good even through a mask. One down side is that when the IR illuminator is on, it has a faint red glow. Well see how it works at D-Day. It had a video out port on it. Here is a shot out my window. Sorry, I dont have the best capture device. There is light from a street lamp coming between the houses behing the car. Without the night vision, thats all you can see. The IR illuminator has an adjustible setting from 1-100. This pic was taken at a setting of 4. Recently, I got it back out and found that their was a problem with the on/off switch. I was able to fix the switch but in the process of doing that I think I might have killed the whole thing. I have it apart at the moment to see what I can do with it. The reason I got it out was because I bought a IR lens for my mag light. Same deal as the illuminator, it has a faint red glow but under the night vision, it's like a spot light.
