Motorized Hoppers
For higher feed rates, you you need to use an powered hopper. I have used several different types. Untill recently, I had a Ricochet AK. I broke it. Now I have a Ricochet 2KX. The Ricochet is a nice hopper. They are designed to deflect paintball when hit. The Ak would feed 10-12bps and the 2KX will feed 14-15bps. Other hoppers are the Viewloader Revolution. I seem to break them every time I use them. Just recently I was using my brothers and I broke the lid off. This hopper also feeds 10-12bps. Both of these hoppers stop running when the paintballs load into the feed neck. Then there is the Viewloader Quantum. Talk about annoying! This thing is always running. Noisy little piece! For major speed I use the Oddyssey Halo B hopper. This thing uses 6 AA batteries. It can feed constantly at 22bps and burst up to 50bps. I also have a Empire Reloader B Night Loader. The Night Loader and Halo look the same, but insted of an eye like the Halo, the Night Loader is sound activated. The Empire also has UV lights inside to charge glow in the dark paintballs.
