Tippmann RMX Landmine
I bought these off the guys at the paintball shop. They are a pressure plate mine that go off when stepped on. The problem with these is that you have to burry them and I'm not about to leave them on a field somewhere. Also, they only squirt paint up your leg and don't make a sound when they go off.
Tippmann RCM-18B Claymore Mine
Again, I bought this off the guys at the paintball shop. It uses a baking soda/vinigar charge that is popped to propell liquid paint out of the tube. I dont have any charges for this but I could make tham. It is electrically triggered with a push button. I havent really tested it so I could only guess at it's range. The new model that tippmann has runs on CO2. They charge $200 and you probably can't get them anymore. I have an idea to make my own CO2 powered one.
WW2 MK-75 "Hawkins" Landmine
Designed after the MK 75 "Hawkins" Mine that was made by the British and use by U.S. Paratroopers during WWII. This is still a protptype. A Type 2 uses a trip wire pin that is put into the firing mechanism to the left of the nozzel. But of course, it still has it's problems. The 3rd type should solve all the problems plus be easier to build. It has a 10' radius range.
M80-TR Landmine
The M80-TR Landmine is made by Major Paintball. This mine is burried and uses a 12 gram CO2 cartridge activated by a pressure plate to spray either paint or smoke powder. It can also be used with a burst tube that sounds like a shotgun going off when triggered. It is well constructed. The original purpose of it was to be used as an indicator for when my tank was hit. In the picture of the mine, I had a failure of the crimp on the burst tube, but it still went off.
