Tippmann 98 Custom
Tippmann 98C:
A very reliable marker. You can customize it in a million and one ways. I originally left it stock and used it as my backup/spare. Later I customized it into my sniper rifle. With all the upgrades, it was too heavy for sniping, but I still used it. During D-Day 05', I decided I wanted a WW2 Browning Automatic Rifle. Now, I have de-customized the Tippmann and made it into a BAR. It weights about 13 pound and is loud. The range is about the same as a regular 98. I was disappointed with that but overall its a good marker.
Tippmann98C ACT E-Trigger
I also just bought a Tippmann 98C Electronic ACT. A 98C with Anti-chop and a E-Trigger. It has a W.A.S. equalized board that has 4 settings and will fire 30bps in full auto. The powder coat has been changed on it, as I believe with all new 98C. It had a matte black powder coat that is supposed to be more durable, but when I took mine out of the box from the factory, it had a chip in it. Oh well, nothing to cry about. I tried it at 30bps with a gravity feed hopper and didn't chop a single ball. Reason being, the bolt was moving so fast that the ball didn't have enough time to even think about going into the breach. I'll have to throw the Halo on and give it a try. Back on semi, it worked great and didn't chop once. The down side of the full auto setting, or any other setting, is that you have to pull the trigger 3 times before the mode will kick in. This can't be changed. Also, the On/Off button is located in the front of the handel grip and requires a small tool to turn it on and off or adjust the settings. It has a battery save feature which turns the marker off after some time. I have had it turn off on me during D-Day. I want to thank the girl that let me use her earing to turn it back on. Other than that, I like it.
