I got the parts!!!!! Im so happy right now!!!!!!!!!

I know it don't look like it but I have been working on it. I finally mounted the rear stock. The gas tube is still free hanging because I'm waiting for a chunk of aluminum to make the block. I did get the swivel, granted it's not a BAR swivel but it will work just fine. I ordered some real BAR parts (Yes I found a place that will sell parts, for real this time, I swear!) I got them today BUT, I ordered the wrong ones. I'm a dumb ass, I know. Of the right parts, I have the front sight assembly. I have to modify it because it wasn't meant for a paintball barrel, but if you know me, that wont be a problem.

I did some updating to the site. I'm in the middle of a complete rebuild of the equipment page. Right now I need to haul out all my gear and retake pictures of everything. I tried to make paint grenades today. I was able to make 3 and in the process, paint my driveway white.

Thats the grenade filler by the way. I found out the problems and I should be able to fix them. Funny thing is, It worked perfect when I built it. Nothing like!having a gallon of paint in your driveway.

I now have my entire WW2 paratrooper uniform complete. 82nd 505th Corpral. Did some work on the BAR. Tomorrow, I'm gonna fix the "work" I did today. Don't ask. I'm planning on making the stocks and finishing the slide tomorrow.I have also ordered the new barrel.

Between fire training and getting things ready for work, I haven't done much on the BAR. The guide and slide are done. I need to attach the handel on the slide still. I'm on my 3rd tap, the other 2 are inside the guide and slide. I started the front stock. Had to redesgine the trigger, It should work now. Next step is to fill holes and smooth things down. Then finish and attach the stocks, trigger, and gas tube. That will finish the majority of it. Then I'll just have little stuff like the saftey, butt stock parts, sights, swivels, and decrotive body parts. Maybe tuseday.

I'm getting their. The barrel looks too short doesn't it. Overall, the barrel is 22 3/8" long. Rusty's Paintball Gear has a 23" Spyder thread barrel. With a Spyder to 98 adapter thats about 25 1/4". Just about right. The 21" barrel has that crome part on it that just pisses me off. I guess I could just deal with it. But anyways, I'm making some pretty good progress on it. The barrel is sitting lower than I want it to (lower than it should be) because the design of the paintball gun. I couldn't do anything with it because of that rod that connects the bolts. I finished the trigger guard/mag guide. I also finished the bump on the back. Next, it's on to the charging handle as you can see by the tape. I've contacted Ohio Ordenance again because, the replica being as screwed up as it is, I want to make sure things are as close as possible. These guy have been a big help.

Last night I went off of probation a the fire station. I now have yellow tags. The difference? Not much, but I'm no longer on probation. Next step is green tags. Once I earn those, I'll be able to go into the fire. Hopefully it'll be around June once I'm done with my class.

What you see here is what I got done. Mr. Tippmann would shit if he saw his gun like this. But it was neccesary. I still have to cut a grove for the new bolt pin. Ohio Ordinance wrote me back and said they won't sell just parts. Oh well. Looks like it's going to be 100% RSG.

Here is the finished BAR replica. Pretty sweet eh!

No this is not the finished gun. It's a replica from Cushman Paintball. I finally got around to doing it. It'll probably just hang on the wall forever. Anyways, I just made the, with any luck, final parts order for the BAR. I'm planning on getting the lower assyembly done tomorrow and possibly starting the stock. I'm talking with the people from Ohio Ordinance. They make a semi-auto version of the BAR. I'm going to price a bunch of real parts to put on my gun.
