D-DAY 2005 Normandy Invasion!

YEAR #4 This was an extremely painful year. Everything started out great. We took the beach in 29 minutes. I went in as a paratrooper.

As we were movin in from behind, and were closing in on the beach head, and I ran out of air. But it was alright because thats when the rangers on the beach came charging over the beach wall. I had the camcorder mounted on the Tippmann. (Very heavy! Don't think I'll do that again.) Caught it on tape. Check it out! So we pushed them all the way to their base, and then proceeded to push them out. That was the end of out luck. A couple of hours later.... Well, we won't go into that.... Let's just say, the by the end of the day, they had control of most of the beach. As Murphy's Law says, "Frendily fire isn't!" I was hit more by our guys than the Germans. My buddy was so pissed, he walked up to the guys that shot us and fragged all 4 of them with a grenade. I was sent on a suicide mission to blow the command tent. After a bunch of waiting they were gonna search me. I took off and heaved one of the bombs at the tent and ended up stuck in a downed tree. (It was dark.) At which point, the entire camp opened up on me. About 50 hits later, I got an apology from everyone for the over shoot and we went to see the damage. 5 feet short of the tent. I tried. The general shook my hand and said "That took balls. Never seen detication like that." Later that night we all went back out and were shot by our own guys again. Sunday morning I went back out with all the paint I had left, 2 pods and a hopper. At this point it was hopeless. I was shot out by a tank. Came out of nowhere. Took one in the elbow. So then I went back and grabbed the camera. Used the digital so I didn't have to wait for developing. In the end, we lost. We ended up with 17,400 points, and the Germans had 25,990 points. We were going to buy about 8,000 points off the french but our guys accidently killed all of their guys. Yeah... The Germans got those points. Anyways, their were 3100 players this year, but we got their at 2:15 friday afternoon and found a good spot.

We raised the American flag and the 82nd Airborne flag and relaxed all night.

Their was a castle game friday night. I took some pics but didn't play. Paiint was $77 a case and you had to buy 12 or more. I had not been saving for the game. Next year. This is one of the prop tanks they built. It wasn't in play, but it was by the castle.

Here is a couple of the tanks that were their. I didn't get a pic of the german tank. Sorry.

The allied Bagpiper. And this is a pic of the German Secret Weapon. A paintball proof robot.

At the end of the game, the germans hit us hard.

We though we were ready but then they reinserted all their guys on the beach.

Our reinsertion point was over run and we had a hard time getting guys in. Those who made it back in were able to get down the beach wall behind the main german push. Too little, too late. Their was only 10 minutes left. Plus We didn't have enough guys to stop it.

You can see the amount of paint in the air in these pics as our guys are pinned down in the corner of the beach. All in all, it fae fun. Had some problems with the tippmann so I used the Viper. I love that thing. Next year, I'm gonna get 3 of 4 cases of paint and I'm brining the Impulse. In the end we were destroyed. Germans - 26,200 Allies - 18,400 and the French - 6,900

D-DAY 05' CREW

Rich, a.k.a. Roguesniper, a.k.a Scoops
I tried playing with my camera strapped to the front of my gun. I used it till i ran out of air. And for some reason that was only 30 minutes on a full 20oz. It was a little on the heavy side and the footage wasn't good at all.

Justin, a.k.a. Gus Gus, a.k.a. My brother
He figured with 3100 players, screw camo!

Jeff, a.k.a. Well... we just call him Jeff
He picked up this sweet vest down their. The guy wasen't at the game but Jeff had this guy embroider a soldier on a motorcycle on the vest. I'll try to get a pic becasue its really cool.

Seamus, a.k.a. Seabizkit
He fragged a whole squad of guys with a squadbuster. And that was all we heard about ALL WEEKEND!!!

Velvet, a.k.a. EEPY, a.k.a. My Sister inlaw
She couldn't play because of the baby on the way, but she came with us and did a little camping.
