Burma Roar 2003 at Skirmish U.S.A.

Another Chuck Stoner Sinarieo game. Set during WW2, Allied forces are sent behind enemy lines to disrupt the flow of supplies to Japanese troops on the Burma Road. This game had about 310 people playing and about 300 acrs to play on. Their were plenty of opertunities for an ambush, which both sides took advantage of. In an 8 hour day, the Japanese team was able to move 23 props. However, the allied team was able to capture the Japanese base and flag 2 times. I got more I just have to get them developed...

Here is the gear of the day.
M-42 "Bunkerbuster" Mortar
Viper M1
Bruizer Outlaw 01'........... Piranha
M-72 "Lawgiver" Bazooka
PT Extreme(MIA)
The Second Push

After a number of battles we all regrouped for a second push on the Japanese base. Originally, a dozen of us were sent to take out a bridge, but, with a new found attack streagity, we went for all the marbles. From our base, we sweep the field right into their back yard...

After a short battle we took the base, the flag, and to throw a little salt into the wound, we blew up their command building...HaHa

Here you see surrendered enemy moving to the dead zone.

About a dozen of us staye behind to guard the base. About 20 or so japanese tried a counter attack to take back the base. With the help of targeted firing from the ground and the heavy machine gun fire from the upper floors of the buildings, (and I do mean heavy, I ran low on paint!!!) we were able to pick off every last one of them. Of course I had a few sniper shots into the windows of the other buildings. That guy wished he never stuck his head infront of the window.... We all did a sweep of the grounds. Unlucky for us, we all got carpet bombed...Ouch...

Needless to say, they took back their base, but they still had to rebuild the command building....HaHaHa... The Japanese made a final push after they got their base back. About 1/2 of their total forces charged to our base, but we were able to hold to the end of the game. The outcome, Japanese 4,250pts, US, 4,700pts.
Afterwards, they held a raffel a which my brother got a free pass to play at Skirmish. Later we had to pack up the trucks and go home. This was no easy task as you can see...

It was one hell of a game.
