BATTLE FOR BERLIN 2006
This game was played a little diffrent in that there were no points. It was basically a free for all. Who's ever flag was hanging in the castle at the end of the game was the winner. The teams were the Germens,(Orange) the Americans,(Blue) and the Russians(Red). I was a Russian. The catch was that the Germans had double the players of either side. They were defending the castle and with a steady flow of reinforcements, neither the Americans or the Russians could get them out. At the end, the Greman flag flew over the castle. They also had a tank built on a 6 wheeler. I was tking pictures when it rolled onto the field. It rolled onto the field along th back side of the castle and wiped out most of the Americans. As impressive as it was, it kinda sucked beecause the Americans were just as close to the castle as we were. We were pinned down in out base early on. I was using the BT-4, and let me tell you, the APEX barrel is outstanding! I was picking people off left and right. I eventually cleared a lane and made a 200 foot run to a bunker and tookout more people. (Pic 28, from white bunker - center, to tan bunker - left) I lead that charge to within 200 feet of the castle wall where it stalled for the rest of the game. (Pic 31) Sliding into that last bunker did me in. I landed on a rock with my right leg. It was really swollen. Thats when I got out the camers. I ended up leaving early, but it was a great game.
