Topic: What's going on?
My biggest and most expensive project yet. A scale replica of a Sherman tank. Specifically an M4A3 (105mm) at 5/8 scale. I'm tired of seeing a minivan with a hole cut in the roof. That is not a tank! It's a minivan with a hole in the roof! This isn't going to be easy, or cheep. The total cost of building the BAR was ???. This is going to cost $1500-$2000 for the gas powered golf cart alone. Then I need to extend the frame, build the body, and finally, the pain in the ass turret. It will have 3 markers (probably Tippmann 98 ACT's), a 2" anti-tank breach load cannon, and possibly a paint (flame) thrower! To top it all off, their is the problem of the $1100 trailer I need to haul it. If you haven't figured it out by now, I have lots of paintball stuff and because of that, No $. Their will also be a little (Loud)surprise when the tank is hit. In 1995, Bret Golihew built a Sherman "Easy 8" Jumbo for Action Creek Paintball. It looks good, but mine will be better. If you will excuse me, I have to go look for change under the cushions.
DUE TO UNCONTROLLABLE EVENTS, I'M GOING TO HAVE TO POSTPONE THE TANK FOR NOW. INSTED, I WILL BE CONSTRUCTING 1 POSSIBLY 2 M1A1 BAZOOKAS TO USE FOR ANTI-TANK. AS OF RIGHT NOW, THE MAIN CANNON OF THE TANK IS BASICALLY FINISHED AND SITTING IN MY BASEMENT. I HAVE TESTED IT AND IT HAS A 320' RANGE WITH A NERF POCKET VORTEX. THE BAZOOKAS WILL HAVE APROXIMATLY THE SAME RANGE.
